One HealthTech supports and promotes individuals from under-represented backgrounds to be future leaders in health innovation. In doing so, we want to influence people and organisations in the wider healthtech community to be as inclusive as possible, regardless of gender, ethnicity, sexuality or background.
These principles outline our expectations for all those who participate in the One HealthTech community, as well as the consequences for unacceptable behaviour; because we believe that by driving inclusivity, everyone will benefit from the best innovations.

Anyone is welcome. We strive to be a community that welcomes and supports people of all backgrounds and identities. This includes members of any race, ethnicity, culture, national origin, colour, immigration status, social and economic class, educational level, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, size, family status, political belief, religion, and mental and physical ability.
Authenticity trumps. Participate in an authentic and active way. In doing so, you contribute to the health and longevity of the community. Plus, honest you is amazing, you should show that stuff.
Collaboration before conflict. Strive to resolve disagreements constructively. The healthtech community is made of a diverse mix of individuals who have different perspectives. A sole person is almost never 100% right. If you disagree with someone, seek to understand their perspective and share yours respectfully, acknowledging the limitations of your ideas, experiences and biases. Just know that working together will always result in a better outcome.
Be considerate. Your work will be used by other people, and you in turn will depend on the work of others. Any decision you take will affect users and colleagues, and you should take those consequences into account when making decisions. Remember that we're a world-wide community, so you might not be communicating in someone else's primary language.
♪Respect (just a lil bit)♪ People working together will inevitably disagree or become frustrated with one another at times, but conflict is no excuse for bad behaviour or personal attacks. A community where people feel uncomfortable or threatened is not a productive one. Be respectful of one another and those outside our community who interact with us.
The following behaviours are considered harassment and are unacceptable within the One HealthTech community:
